The John Frusciante Interval Trick | RHCP Inspired Lesson

An awesome intervallic trick I learned from one of my teachers at Musicians Institute; Dale Turner. The interesting bit is that I learned it from him years before ever stepping into the classroom through an article in Guitar One magazine.

The whole lesson consists of applying the 10th interval of any chord in a harmonic manner, in order to create sounds similar to the guitar parts in "Scar Tissue" by the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

I hope the lesson comes in handy, it certainly has come in handy for me! Enjoy!
