A quick introduction to a scale the I've been digging a bit as of the las couple of weeks. I have had experience with this scale before but I finally decided to start using it as an improvisational tool and I am loving all of the different scale possibilities that appear when studying it's modes.
The Modes:
1. Harmonic Major
2. Dorian b5
3. Phrygian b4
4. Melodic Minor #11 (Lydian b3)
5. Mixolydian b2
6. Lydian Augmented #2
7. Locrian bb7
